Transmission Adaptors for odd-ball V8's and some I6-8's
Here is a quick overview of where to find transmission adapters for the slightly 'oddball' motors at least in Australia, so non chev/ford SB motors.
The other option is to have something custom made. I would suggest that with the cost of some of these kits in USD and the cost to get them here that a good competent machine shop would or could do the job for the same or close $$ and your keeping your money local and helping out a small business.
I know 'Ivan Bishop' in Castlemaine does just such things and is competent and has Hot Rodders working for him. Diecrest in Harcourt also can do such a job. I only mention these two as I know them. But I'm sure if you talk to local car guys they will know who are the good shops to go to.
The biggest thing is sometimes the aditional parts required aren't readily available here, so be sure to contact the supplier and be clear in what is required, as this additional cost may not make it feasible.

MANUAL
MIke does a 4 and 5 speed adapter, I have used his 5 speed, it is NOT a bolt in kit, I discussed this with mike and I know two others who have used them since and had the same issues. Once the sleeve for the input shaft of the 5 speed is adapted, and if your using an 11" clutch plate, you need to route out the bellhousing, it will work well.

MOPAR
I'll just put mopar as with a lot of the early HEMI's the kits cover them all, some don't and you will have to do some research to make sure you get what you want but its a good place to start.
