The Day of the Drags Event to find Australia's Quickest Flathead Powered Hot Rod has been rescheduled for Saturday 22nd of May. Be there to check out all the action from this great series.

As part of Day of the Drags 2010 they will run two side valve brackets. Heads-up racing 'til they come up with the two quickest flathead powered Hot Rods - Naturally Aspirated & Supercharged .

All flathead contenders may also participate during the day in other events if they wish.

To ensure you guys are fair dinkum, there will be $$$ in it for the winner and runner-up.

A perpetual trophy to be defended each year to keep your right to be known as Australia's Quickest Flathead Powered Hot Rod.

The Rules!

* Must be a pre 48 Hot Rod bodied car or pick up
* No dragster type chassis with a mounted body
* Must be side valve configuration engine 4, 6, 8 or 12 Cylinder
* Any type of engine modification allowed (No OHV conversions or Nitro)
* No centre steer cars or altereds allowed
* Max wheel base 115 inch
* One engine per car
* Cars must comply with current ANDRA standards

Blown: $750 winner, Runner up $250
