2009 American Car Nationals

Well the last Sunday of September saw the annual American Car Nationals which also incorporated the Canberra Chrysler Day, although the weather was terrible the cars weren't.
Despite the shocking cold winds and the occasional down poor there was a great turn out of cars. Approximately 120 beautiful beasts turned up to show off their wares and the onlookers weren't dissappointed with a good selection of American beauty and Chrysler muscle.
There was a little something from all camps which included Fords, Chevs, Buicks, Dodges and more. Mustangs were well represented under the Ford banner with around 20 examples on display. Even a genuine Shelby GT350. Plenty of of Corvettes flew the bowtie flag and there was all manner of models from all camps there. There was also a couple of custom bikes on display.
Sadly I think due to the weather numbers were slightly lower than previous years but all in all a good day. Can't wait for next years event and hopefully the weather will be slightly kinder than this years.
Enough rambling from me so enjoy the pics.
