The 17th Annual All American Car Show - Gembrook Victoria

Held each year in conjunction with the Thunderbirds car & rod club as well as the Rotary club.
This was the 17th Annual All American car show. Set in the Dandenong ranges at Gembrook it turned out to be a great setting for this show, sure it was a hot day but the awesome machines on display soon made one forget about the heat.
There were a few clubs in attendance being the Lincoln & Mercury car club, Pontiac and Mustang owners clubs. All clubs had an amazing array of restored / customised cars on display as well as many hot rods and an abundance of beautiful 57 Chevs all polished up and waiting to be admired.
Cars kept arriving as the day progressed and soon the main oval of the venue was full, so new arrivals had to park wherever they could find space to do so. The clubs involved did a terrific job and the venue, catering and rockabilly music were all spot on.
The show stopper was 1949 Mercury lead sled, an amazing machine with one of the best paint jobs I have ever seen.
So next year keep late February free for the 18th Gembrook car show, it's worth your time to visit it.
